Privacy policy
Last updated 1 September 2026.
Who this covers
This policy covers The Denning Center (“we”), operating at 8626 Tesoro Drive, Suite 205, San Antonio, TX 78217, and applies to this website only.
It does not cover the therapy relationship itself. If you become a client you will receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which governs your treatment records and is a different and stronger document than this one.
What we collect through this website
The consultation form
Only these fields exist, and only the first three are required:
- A name (a first name is sufficient)
- An email address or a phone number — one is enough
- Your consent to be contacted
- Optionally: contact preference, general availability, a broad reason for getting in touch, an insurance carrier name, and a short free-text note
The form asks you not to include clinical detail, and the note field is capped in length for that reason. The server rejects any submission containing fields for dates of birth, member or group numbers, Social Security numbers, payment details, addresses, or file attachments — even if a request is constructed to send them.
What we deliberately do not do
- No advertising or social media tracking pixels
- No third-party map, video or chat embeds that load trackers on page view
- No selling or sharing of information with anyone for marketing
- No newsletter sign-up requirement to read anything or download anything
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — which are used for security and to keep the site running. Any analytics used is configured not to receive health information in URLs or event parameters.
How we use it
To reply to you about a consultation, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your inquiry to advertise to you.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become clients are deleted once they are clearly no longer live. If you become a client, your treatment record is governed by the HIPAA notice you will be given and by Texas record-retention requirements — not by this policy.
Who else sees it
Our website host and our email provider process this information on our behalf in order to deliver the message. A blind copy of each inquiry also reaches eSEOspace, who build and look after this website, so that someone is checking that inquiries arrive at all — a contact form can fail silently, and the practice would otherwise have no way to notice. They use it for that and nothing else. We do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can call instead of using the form. The number is 210-714-3308.
- You can ask us to delete an inquiry at any time by emailing info@TheDenningCenter.com.
- You can ask us not to contact you by a particular method — the form has a field for that.
- Your browser can be set to reject cookies; this site does not depend on them.
Children
This is an adult practice and this website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Links to other sites
Where we link to crisis lines, government health resources, or a bookseller, those organisations have their own policies and we do not control them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how inquiries are handled will be described here rather than made quietly.
